Nepal Television is the oldest and most watched television channel in Nepal. For many years this was the only television channel from Nepal. 

The news broadcast at 8:00 p.m. is the channel's most popular show, followed by comedy program Sakkigoni, Mundre Ko Comedy Club and Meri Bassai.
